Still in Development Process
The furthest, smallest room on the second floor is the one that I'm planning to focus working on next, including the bookshelves and the books. The reason for that being that the smallest room is actually the focal point of my environment, hence why it is brightest and most saturated, and the bookshelves and the books are just scattered around the whole level and texturing them is something that I prioritise because as soon as I figure the colours out and apply the textures, the scene will start getting towards a much more finished stage. That will also allow me to start getting thinking if I should adjust the lighting a little bit in order to capture the feeling of this place better.
Contrast is very important to me, I think it's what makes a lot of things in pieces stand out. So because my scene is quite dark in general, I'm planning to make the books a lot brighter - otherwise they're just going to blend with the background and have little to no visual interest. In addition to that, what I would also like to do next is create another dust particle system because as I've mentioned in a lot of previous entries of mine, although the place is being used often, it's not really been ceaned up or tidied regularly.
